I remember the day like it was yesterday—August 13, 2023. I was sitting in the Sky Miles Lounge, feeling

lost and lonely after a year of profound changes. I had lost my mother, my marriage, and my home,

and I found myself longing for connection—friends who shared my love for travel, great food, and

simply enjoying life.

That moment sparked something special. I made a post in the SkyMiles Life group, and just like that,

Ladies Now Boarding was born—a vibrant community of incredible women from across the U.S. who

travel together quarterly, exploring, indulging in amazing food (because we are total foodies), and

creating lifelong memories. But who am I? I’m a woman who has faced challenges yet made the

conscious choice to embrace life with hope, excitement, and adventure. Travel is my passion, and I’m

on a mission to visit all 50 states (just eight more to go!). When I’m not boarding a plane, you’ll find me

at the movies, lost in a book, playing games, or enjoying a glass of wine with great conversation.

Beyond my love for travel, I am deeply committed to giving back. As the Executive Director of a

women’s nonprofit in Atlanta, I work to uplift and empower women—especially single moms—through

education and trade opportunities. I believe in the power of sisterhood and that we are truly our

“sisters’ keepers.” My motto (taken from poet, Cleo Wade)? “Be the reason someone feels welcomed,

seen, heard, valued, loved, and supported.”
